Respond to that idea. What do you think about it? Do you think that teachers could be more effective if they used technology tools (think pod casts, web videos, online discussion forums, electronic assignment submission, tech-related project assignments)? Are modern students technologically inclined? What about being a student in Utah? Do you think that being in Utah keeps you a little behind-the-times as far as technology learning is concerned? Would YOU do better if more multi-media was used in your classrooms to teach and present, and for you to demonstrate your learning and communicate?
I think that we could use more technology, maybe not as much as New York, but we could use more. Technology can help in a lot of ways, more then we could do on paper. It has a lot more information then even the teachers sometimes so it could help us learn more stuff. We still do a ton of stuff on the computer, we do PowerPoint's, research papers and all that stuff. So were all not totally technologically inclined.
I think that being a student in Utah is keeping us a little inclined from technology. Like you said New York has tons of stuff and I know of tons of schools that has laptops in each classroom for students to use. I think I might do better if we had computers and stuff like that in each classroom because whatever information the teacher is looking at we could follow along, and for me it helps. I think it would help demonstrate certain things better. Also if we have a lot of technology it will help us in the job field because we know a lot about computers.
